The warm weather is coming! Come and enjoy Wakefield and the Gatineau hills as everything greens up. There is so much to do. Our music and arts scene make us a destination: the Earle House, Kaffe 1870, Motel Chelsea, Le Hibou and (yes, it’s back!) the Black Sheep all offer top acts. With great restaurants and shopping. Or just relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the view from our beautiful porch. Perhaps in the hot tub! Wakefield and Les Trois Erables make for your perfect needed getaway!

Les Trois Érables was built by a prominent local doctor over 125 years ago with stately rooms and tranquil gardens. It is now an elegant inn that is ideal for your visit – whether you are here to get away from it all and relax for a few days, or to partake in the many activities that Wakefield and area have to offer.
Wakefield is a special place and you will see why. A little bohemian, a lot artsy, surrounded by nature – it’s a riverside village tucked among lush hills that looks pretty much like it did a century ago. With several excellent restaurants and bars, culture and entertainment the envy of much larger centres and plenty of outdoor activities in the area – what’s not to like?
