This is an absolutely delightful inn. The house itself has been beautifully restored. It is run with obvious love and excellent attention to detail. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The setting on the river is totally charming and the Inn provides kayaks and a canoe to use on the river.

Yet another perfect Black Sheep weekend in Wakefield spent under the roof of this village icon and it’s marvelous hosts.  Les Trois Erables takes the B&B experience to a level not equalled in the experience of this weary traveller.

Sometimes the very best stays at hotels or resorts are the ones that remain in our memories long after we’ve returned home.  That certainly holds true for the four days my husband and I enjoyed at Les Trois Erables…  We had serene sleeps, a peaceful room to return to at day’s end, and superlative breakfasts every morning.

Every want and need was looked after… The breakfasts were simply delicious.  The rooms were beautifully furnished and immaculately clean.  I highly recommend this spot for a group gathering or a wonderful getaway.

The house is charming, full of antiques, full of character. The three course breakfasts were perfect and we were ready for our wedding festivities. We even had a surprise batch of freshly baked cookies waiting for us after a late evening!

We had driven past this majestic old house many times and we were curious about it.  Inside, the house is incredible.  Like a space out of time.  Interesting.  Curious.  Breakfast was superb!

Every detail of this B & B is exquisite! Rooms are very comfortable…breakfast is delicious and unique…common area is comfortable and relaxing….and the hosts are delightful!

We’ve visited B&Bs from St. John’s to Victoria. This one is in the top 1 per cent. We’ll be back!

As a travel agent for some 35 years, I have stayed in my share of hotels, inns and B&Bs all over the world. Les Trois Erables ranks right up there for pure comfort, hospitality, setting and food.

Our eight night stay at Les Trois Erables was truely memorable… The coup de grace is the breakfasts – fantastic and different every day…  Our stay at Les Trois Erables was way above our expectations and if we ever return to Canada any where else will have a lot to live up to!
